Job Title: Lead, Strategy & Planning

Job Objective(s)

• The role is responsible for facilitating the design and development of the mid-long term corporate and business strategies for the organization, including analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and internal capabilities to identify opportunities and threats.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist Divisional Leaders and departments to develop short-mid-term technical and operational programs, plans and budges.
• Drive innovation and adopt new technologies to improve operational efficiency and reduce cost.
• Identify and proffer solutions to mitigating risks that could impact the company's operations or financial performance.
• Develop and monitor dashboards to ensure that deviations are promptly reported, and corrective measures are identified and taken.
• Provide support for the use of Planning & Performance Management, Investment & Transactions Management Frameworks throughout the organization.
• Provide support to departments and business units in the design and implementation of objectives and alignment to the corporate.  
• Evaluate performance against planned targets and report asset/departmental and business unit’s performance.
• Track and manage the alignment of objectives and performance measures to the organization.
• Cascade the business plans and scorecard from the Executive Management to divisions, projects, departments and unit levels.  

Requirements
Education:

• A good University Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or any other related field  
• MBA and / or equivalent business experience gained in broad business context is an advantage.
• Professional Certifications relating to Business Strategy is preferably.

Experience:

• 7 years Post-graduation experience with at least 2 years cognate experience in the Oil and Gas industry and/or Consulting background and related job position and functions.
