Job Title: Sales Merchandiser

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• The role of the Merchandiser is to ensure that the shelves of retail stores are stocked with products and display them accordingly for customers.
• Merchandisers are responsible for tracking the product inventory levels, and reporting any issues of expiry or shortages to management.
• Collaborate with store account officer/contact person to raise new orders and follow up with payments.

Responsibilities

• Merchandisers will be assigned to stores (Justrite, Ebano, Jendol, etc) on the Island and it is expected that all stores will be visited in a week
• Monitoring Sales Activities of all products during visitation to a store and the stock level should be checked.
• Analyze sales figures, customer reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock
• Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately on the shelves and dump bins.
• Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs of competitors.
• Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipelines and close deals.
• Remain up to date with the company’s best practices.

Requirements

• A minimum of OND / HND in any discipline
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position
• Candidates residing on the Island (Lekki, Ajah, VI) are encouraged to apply

Salary

• N80,000 - N150,000 monthly.
