Operations Manager at a Leading Real Estate Company

We are a leading real estate company with our headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria, and branches in other states in Nigeria and outside Nigeria. Our company comprises of five subsidiaries and have a vision to provide affordable housing using a concept that provides essential services to manage and maintain various types of buildings both for corporate and individual clients. We are into human capital development, real estate development, construction of buildings, and property policing, etc.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Overview

• S/he will be responsible for the overall coordination, compliance and risk management, workflow management, supervision, and oversight of all the company’s operations including the office, various sites, and subsidiaries.
• You will be accountable for driving the performance of our operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the company in alignment with the company’s policies and SOP.
• Formulate frameworks that ensure smooth operations and efficiency.
• Formulate and develop operational methods to drive performance and accountability from team members.
• Coordinate periodic operational audits to ensure compliance with the company’s internal processes.
• Ensure operational risks are mitigated and managed in compliance with real estate regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor and management.

Qualification / Competencies

• BSc / HND in a property-related degree with strong administration and managerial skills.
• 5- 10 years’ experience in a similar role.
• A strong understanding of Nigeria's Real Estate Laws and Legal Regulations is an added advantage.
• Must be a strong team player and must be able to motivate a diverse team.
• Good communication, writing, and presentation skills.

Desirable and Required Skills:

• Ability to work without supervision.
• A self-starter and a self-motivated manager
• Strong coordination and project management skills
• Driving skills with a valid driver's license.
