The Candidate
We are currently looking for a Marketing and Sales Manager to join our Port Harcourt team
The candidate we seek is a natural marketer with qualities of a maven and flair for connecting people and building networks anywhere people are found. The ideal candidate shall have a passion for learning, inquisitive, versatile, social, result and self-driven, independent, confident, resilient, analytical and creative with the ability to use data to make quick and efficient enterprise decisions.
The candidate shall have a strong social media presence with a combined network of not less than 5,000 people, advertising capability and experience in developing relevant advertising content on learning; defining the customer journey and channel strategy; and testing and analyzing performance.
The Role
The role will lead, develop, implement, monitor and measure marketing and sales enablement strategies to incorporate integrated digital marketing and brand strategies, roadmaps, and campaigns targeted on accelerating brand awareness, customer acquisition and revenue growth goals.
Tracking and analysing the performance of advertising campaigns, creating and managing the marketing budget, and ensuring that all marketing material is in line with the school brand identity.
Hands-on experience with web analytics tools and be able to turn creative ideas into effective advertising projects. Build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels. Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about the school and drive qualified traffic to our front door
Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition/advertising channels like content creation, content curation, pay-per-click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media,
Develop and implement marketing strategies based on business goals, market analysis and media mix modelling.
Lead generation - identify customer growth opportunities and generate leads through digital, physical, electronic, and social media marketing activities.
Define customer target segments and develop, execute, and manage campaigns to drive online traffic and engagement across omni-channel platforms and print media.
Execution of physical (billboards), digital, and social media marketing and thought leadership content that drives brand performance.
Develop metrics to measure insights into potential and existing customers to build new business opportunities.
Measure and analyse weekly performance, insights, and testing across all campaigns.
Enable other sales agents, staff and teachers by providing impactful marketing content and campaigns to achieve sales goals.
Data driven performance marketing to increase website and mobile traffic, quality lead generation, enhance user journey and experience, improve conversion rates, and build brand recognition and customer engagement.
Reporting and analysis – evaluate online campaign performance.
Optimize automation to improve email marketing and website conversion optimization.
Knowledge of website development
Academic and Professional Qualification
Diploma, Bachelor, or Master’s Degree in Marketing or similar discipline including Finance, Business Administration, Sciences etc
Experience:
6+ years of professional experience in a Sales and Marketing roles
Knowledge or experience in social, electronic, print media advertising. *Previous experience in educational services and products, international admission is an advantage.
Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate, and motivate.
Good knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics,
Experience in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns
Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
Excellent communication skills and Team Player
