Job Title: Guard Recruitment Officer / Supervisor

Job Description

• We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Guard Recruitment Officer/Supervisor to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising security guards to ensure the safety and security of our clients' premises.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment:

• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified security guard candidates.
• Conduct interviews, background checks, and reference checks for prospective security guards.
• Coordinate and facilitate recruitment drives, job fairs, and community outreach programs.
• Maintain a database of potential candidates and manage the recruitment pipeline.

Training and Development:

• Organize and conduct training sessions for newly recruited security guards, covering topics such as security procedures, emergency response, and customer service.
• Ensure all security guards are trained in the use of security equipment and technology.
• Develop and update training materials and manuals as needed.
• Conduct regular refresher training sessions to maintain high standards of performance.

Supervision:

• Oversee the daily operations of security guards, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of security guards, providing feedback and guidance as necessary.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure security measures are being followed.
• Address any incidents or issues involving security guards promptly and effectively.

Administration:

• Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on recruitment and supervisory activities to management.
• Ensure all security guards are appropriately licensed and certified as required by law.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security management, recruitment, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of security operations and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in law enforcement or military service.
• Certification in security management or related discipline.
• Familiarity with security technology and equipment.
