Job Title: Factory Worker

Location: Abule-Egba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary

• We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Factory Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within the furniture or interior design industry.
• This role involves various tasks essential to the production of our high-quality furniture pieces, ensuring that each product meets our rigorous standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment used in the production process.
• Assemble furniture components accurately and efficiently.
• Follow blueprints and design specifications to ensure precise construction.
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality and defects.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.
• Assist in inventory management and stock control.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Report any issues or concerns to the production supervisor.

Qualifications

• SSCE or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory setting, preferably in furniture production.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or Training in Woodworking, Carpentry, or a related field.
• Experience with screwing machines and other specialized furniture production equipment.
