We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Restaurant Waiter

Location: Festac, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Customer Service - Greet and seat customers, presenting menus and answering questions about menu items, specials, and beverages.
• Order Taking - Accurately take food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
• Serving - Serve food and drinks to customers promptly and courteously, ensuring a high standard of service.
• Bill Presentation - Present bills to customers, process payments, and provide change or receipts as needed.
• Cleanliness - Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations.
• Assistance - Assist with setting up and closing down the restaurant, including preparing tables and dining areas for the next shift.
• Compliance - Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, as well as health and safety regulations.

Education

• Minimum Requirements - Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.

Experience

• Experience in a restaurant or food service environment is advantageous but not mandatory. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Skills:

• Communication - Excellent verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and staff.
• Customer Focus - Strong customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Attention to Detail - Ensure accuracy in order taking and serving to avoid mistakes.
• Teamwork- Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other waiters.
• Time Management - Efficiently manage time to serve multiple tables and handle busy periods.
• Physical Stamina - Ability to stand for long periods and carry heavy trays of food and beverages.

Other Requirements:

• Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must have legal authorization to work in [Country].
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a passion for customer service.
