Position Overview

• We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Part-Time Data Analytics Instructor with expertise in programming with R and machine learning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics and the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible and engaging manner. This role is perfect for professionals who enjoy teaching and want to contribute to the development of future data analysts.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive data analytics courses to students with varying levels of experience.
• Develop and update course materials, including lecture notes, assignments, and exams.
• Provide hands-on instruction and guidance in programming with R and machine learning techniques.
• Assist students with understanding course content, completing assignments, and preparing for exams.
• Foster a supportive and interactive learning environment to encourage student participation and success.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data analytics, R programming, and machine learning.
• Provide feedback and support to students to help them achieve their learning goals.
• Collaborate with the curriculum development team to continuously improve course offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Proven experience in data analytics, with a strong emphasis on programming in R and machine learning.
• Prior teaching or training experience, preferably in a classroom or online setting.
• Proficiency in R programming, including data manipulation, visualization, and statistical analysis.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their practical applications.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Passion for education and a commitment to student success.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other data analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL).
• Industry certifications in data analytics or machine learning.
• Experience in developing online courses and using learning management systems (LMS).
