Job Title: Travel Consultant

Job Description

• The Travel Consultant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and expert advice on hotel bookings, visa processing, and holiday planning.
• This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the travel industry to ensure seamless travel experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
Hotel Bookings:

• Assist clients in selecting and booking hotels that meet their preferences and budget.
• Negotiate and secure the best rates and deals with hotel partners.
• Handle any issues related to hotel reservations, including cancellations and modifications.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel options and amenities to provide informed recommendations.
• Visa Processing
• Provide clients with detailed information on visa requirements for various destinations.
• Assist clients in preparing and submitting visa applications.
• Track and manage visa applications to ensure timely processing and approval.
• Resolve any issues or concerns related to visa applications and documentation.

Holiday Planning:

• Create customized holiday packages based on client preferences, budgets, and interests.
• Plan and organize complete travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, activities, and transportation.
• Offer expert advice on popular destinations, travel trends, and local attractions.
• Ensure all aspects of holiday planning are handled efficiently and professionally.

Customer Service and Support:

• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Offer ongoing support to clients before, during, and after their trips.
• Handle any travel-related issues or emergencies, providing quick and effective solutions.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

• Promote and sell travel packages, including hotels, visas, and holiday packages.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional travel services.
• Participate in marketing and promotional activities to attract new clients.

Administrative Tasks:

• Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions, bookings, and transactions.
• Prepare and submit reports on sales, bookings, and client feedback.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and travel regulations.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a travel consultant or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of hotel bookings, visa processing, and holiday planning.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in using travel booking systems and software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor's Degree in Tourism / Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
