Currently, we are building a local and cross border service network to support air, sea and road transportation with the aim to be the leading diversified integrated logistics solution provider between China and emerging markets. By doing so, it will reduce end-to-end logistics costs between China and emerging markets while providing a stable and recognized logistics services to our customers. Job Title: Fleet Supervisor

Locations: Asaba, Delta and Ibadan, Oyo State
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• As a Fleet Supervisor, your job role ensures all transport needs are met, vehicles are well-maintained, drivers are trained, travel routes are regularly assessed/updated in coordination with the security department, and any operational gaps are addressed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Drivers so they adhere to strict schedules.
• Developing strategies for greater fuel efficiency.
• Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.
• Complying with the Federal and State Ministry of Transport laws and regulations on all trips.
• Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
• Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.
• Monitoring driver behavior and ensuring a high level of customer service.
• Analyzing data to increase business operational efficiency.
• Utilizing GPS systems to monitor drivers and track vehicles

Requirements

• Experience in managing fleet
• Ability to take initiative and be flexible in a constantly changing work environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Excel/google sheets and ease with a variety of tech platforms and reporting.
• 2+ years of experience managing transportation operations.
• HND or Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or a related field
