Job Title: Service Writer

Job Description

• As a Service Writer at Redline Automobile Service, you will be the liaison between our customers and our service technicians.
• Your primary role will be to ensure that each customer’s needs are understood and addressed, ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and listen to their needs regarding vehicle issues and maintenance.
• Create detailed work orders and service estimates based on customer information and technician input.
• Schedule service appointments and manage the service workflow to ensure timely completion of work.
• Communicate with customers throughout the service process, providing updates and explaining any additional recommended services.
• Maintain detailed records of services performed, parts used, and transactions.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with service technicians to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Experiencein automotive services is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Service Writer, Service Advisor, or similar role in an automotive service environment.
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in using automotive service software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
