Job Duties
Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets in the training industry
Achieve targets in terms on new customer acquisition, revenue & profitability
Seek out the appropriate contact in an organization
Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone or e-meetings
Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
Draw up client contracts - depending on the size of company, this task may be completed by someone else or agreements may not be as formal
Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them
Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing & digital marketing department
Seek ways of improving the way the business operates
Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate
Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world
Local and regional travel wherever & whenever required
Requirements
Graduate with MBA in Marketing, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
8+ Years (B2b Sales Corporate Training Industry) - CTC Budget BDM - 10 to 16 LPA
4+ years of direct work experience in a sales capacity (experience from Training industry is mandatory)
Demonstrated ability to convert prospects, close deals, and achieve sales quotas
Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre¬-call planning, call control, account development, and time management.
Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers.
Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
Strong problem identification and objections resolution skills.
Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
Maintaining a database of prospective client information
Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
Excellent listening skills.
Strong written communication skills.
Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.
Ability to travel and attend sales events or exhibitions.
Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans
High level of integrity and work ethic.
Working Conditions
