Job Title: Consultancy for Event Planner to Plan and Organize the Feed the Future Livelihoods Project Ex-Post Evaluation Report Dissemination Event

Overview of Feed the Future Ex-post Evaluation Report
Between July 2013 and July 2018, Catholic Relief Services (CRS), in partnership with the Catholic Caritas Foundation of Nigeria (CCFN), Mercy Corps, the Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations in Nigeria (FOMWAN) and Making Cents International, implemented the Feed the Future Nigeria Livelihoods Project. This was a five-year program with support from USAID, and cost share from CRS and partners.
Over its lifetime, the project reached a total of 54,787 households in rural communities in Northern Nigeria’s Adamawa, Borno, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Kebbi, Sokoto and Yobe states, through its interventions in agriculture production, livelihood, and improving access to nutrition and Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene.
In 2023, CRS partnered with University of Notre Dame’s Keough School of Global Affairs to evaluate the project and assess its long-term impact and resilience in Northern Nigeria.
About the Event
CRS is to hold a dissemination event to showcase the results and insights from the ex-post report with key stakeholders from the project, government, donors, and development partners.
The format is a hybrid event, for attendees online and 50-70 in-person participants. There will be a livestreaming of the event for online attendance, and opportunity for a wider participation from CRS Nigeria, regional, global team members.
Summary of Assignment
The event planner is to coordinate and oversee the planning of the event, ensuring all the necessary arrangements for the events are catered for as listed in the specific deliverables.
Deliverables
Event coordination
On-site coordination before, during and after the event to ensure deliverables from needed vendors, the venue and CRS BD team.
Decoration
Prepare the décor for the stage, hall, sitting area and entrance to the venue. The sitting arrangement will be in a banquet style. Provide ambience lightening and sound system
Event compere
Contract an MC for the run of event.
Ushering
Provide 4 ushers to support the event protocol
Event livestreaming
Contract a vendor to provide videoconferencing and live streaming. Vendor to also provide a LED mega-screen for the main stage and 5 conference microphones.
Photography
Secure a professional photographer to take photos of the event. At least 100 digital photos to be submitted, showing key highlights from the event
Videography
Arrange for a videographer to capture short video highlights from the event. Short videos of key takeaways and an event highlight.
Payment Schedule
CRS will pay the consultant a fixed rate, which will be paid after the successful completion of the assignment.
Reporting:
The consultant will work closely the Business Development Assistant and report to CRS Nigeria Marketing and Communications Coordinator.

Technical Requirements
Similar experience in organizing event involving various stakeholders.
Impressive portfolio of previously managed events (corporate events, conferences, weddings, and birthday parties).
Relevant qualification in hospitality, communications, public relations, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality, coordinate and manage event conferences, meetings, or a related field.
Adequate work plan and methodology that details work to be performed and lead time to complete it.
Excellent networking skills with private and public sector institutions
Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to conduct discussions with a diversity of people.
Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years (2015, 2016 & 2017)
Payment Schedule
Payment will be disbursed as per activity schedules, submission of completed & verifiable report upon completion of agreed deliverables.
Please note that CRS will deduct and remit to the relevant tax authority a 5% or 10% withholding Tax from the total consultancy fees for individuals or organizations in accordance with the Nigerian Tax Law.
