Grassroots Lifesaving Outreach (LESGO) is an impartial, neutral and independent Non-Governmental Organization whose mission exclusively established to promote life in underserved communities through empowering communities to know and protect lives including their environment towards ensuring safe habitation through participatory methodology. Established in Grassroots Lifesaving Outreach was established in 2010 but was incorporated in the year 2011 with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). LESGO exists to partner with government and relevant agencies to promote and strengthen humanitarian law and a universal principle that seeks to honor the dignity of mankind with support and believe that Life is worth living and living well.

Job Title: LGA Team Lead

Job Summary
The Team Lead will be responsible for maintaining regular contact with clinical supervisors and LGA authorities.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Shall report to the Coordinator
Coordinates and supervises activities of Clinical Supervisors
Counsel and referring advanced issues to Health Coordinator
Work with the MEAL Officer to Monitor and Evaluate the effectiveness of facility and outreaches, making recommendations for improvement as needed
Provide overall managerial oversight for implementation of the health program activities in the target LGA;
Ensure health projects implementation are of high quality and meets the LESGO/ optimal standards.
Provide technical support to field staff and provide them necessary mentoring and trainings as needed to enhance their capacity for optimal performance
Ensure data collection, data compilation, timely preparation and submission of all reports including weekly and periodic reports
Maintain open and professional relations with team members
Approve and manage all time, attendance and leave requests to ensure adequate departmental coverage; ensure monthly, accurate timesheet submission.
Make regular field visits to monitor project implementation and provide on spot support to volunteers and propose modifications as necessary
Conduct performance reviews and clearance of Clinical Supervisor for monthly stipends and forwards same to Coordinator.
Coordination & Representation:
In consultations with the Health Coordinator actively develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders (government actors, local NGOs, and other relevant actors);
Attend all relevant meetings as may be required
Facilitate field visits as required.
Qualifications
Health professional (B.Sc in Public Health, Nurse)
3 - 4 years experience in coordinating, implementing and managing primary and secondary health programs
