Supervise daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage departments.
Ensure high standards of guest service and satisfaction are maintained at all times.
Monitor and manage hotel occupancy rates, room inventory, and pricing strategies to maximize revenue.
Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Staff Management:
Recruit, train, and supervise hotel staff, including front desk agents, housekeepers, maintenance workers, and food and beverage servers.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff to ensure high levels of productivity and job satisfaction.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professionalism, and personal growth.
Address staffing issues and conflicts promptly and effectively.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage the hotel revenue forecasting, expense control, and financial reporting.
Implement cost-saving measures and revenue enhancement strategies to improve profitability.
Monitor financial performance metrics and adjust operations as needed to achieve financial goals.
Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality service.
Sales and Marketing:
Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement strategies to attract new guests and retain existing customers.
Participate in sales activities, such as client meetings, site inspections, and networking events, to promote the hotel and generate business.
Utilize online and offline marketing channels to increase brand awareness and drive bookings.
Quality Assurance:
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and overall appearance throughout the hotel.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Address any issues or deficiencies identified during inspections promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Solid understanding of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage.
Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of local market trends, competitors, and industry regulations.
Flexibility to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
