Clear Solutions, a non-profit working in Nigeria, focuses on reducing the tragically-high number of children dying from diarrhoea (>400,000 under-5-year-olds globally per year), working with the primary healthcare system to improve access to, and awareness of, highly cost-effective treatments. Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) and Zinc could prevent >90% of deaths if all diarrhoea cases were treated. Our collaboration with Community Health Workers provides parents of young children with free ORS & Zinc at their home, ready to use whenever a child suffers diarrhoea.
