Job Title: Academy Program Manager

Role Overview
As an Academy Program Manager for Memoi Campus, you will play a pivotal role in driving, managing and overseeing the growth of Memoi Campus, executing bootcamps, hackathons, organizing developer workshops, and fostering technical conversations.
As a key member of the Memoi Africa team, the role involves actively overseeing and facilitating Memoi Africa's educational programs, live sessions in contexts where they are most relevant and impactful.
This includes identifying opportunities, collaborating with partners, planning and ensuring the seamless execution and reporting across initiatives aligned with Memoi Africa's educational objectives.
Responsibilities
Curriculum Development:
Design and develop comprehensive, hands-on technical bootcamp programs in collaboration with subject matter instructors & experts.
Keep the curriculum up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.
Project Management:
Lead the planning, execution like bootcamps, hackathons, workshops, and closure of technical projects.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
Utilize project management tools to track progress and ensure milestones are met.
Team Leadership:
Manage outsourced trainers, facilitators, juries, mentors, etc.
Manage developer projects, providing guidance and mentorship.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team learning environment.
Technical Expertise:
Stay abreast of emerging technologies in Blockchain, AI, IoT, and related fields.
Provide technical guidance to the team, community and contribute hands-on when necessary.
Ensure that projects align with best practices and industry standards.
Bootcamps, Hackathons and Workshops:
Plan, coordinate, and execute hackathons and developer workshops.
Engage with the community to identify relevant topics and themes.
Collaborate with partners to sponsor and support events.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing departments, and operations.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
Resource Management:
Manage project resources effectively, including budgeting and resource allocation.
Identify and address resource constraints or bottlenecks.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality educational programs that meet the need of learners.
Conduct thorough testing and validation of project outcomes.
Ensure functionality tests and ideate on improvement areas.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in leading edtech CRM & structured projects, preferably in the field of emerging technologies.
Strong project management skills, including familiarity with project management tools.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of Blockchain, AI, IoT, or related technologies. (Must have)
Experience in organizing bootcamps, hackathons, workshops, and managing an Edtech platform.
