We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Oil Sachet Filling Operator
Location: Anambra

Responsibilities
Sachet Filling: Operate filling equipment to accurately fill vegetable oil into sachets. Monitor and adjust the machinery to maintain the correct filling levels, ensuring consistency and quality in every sachet. Ensuring the machine and other production lines are impeccably clean and sanitized. Set up machines, including calibration and cleaning processes, to initiate the production cycle. Report any malfunctions to the maintenance team.
SOP & GMP Adherence: Strictly adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to maintain a hygienic and safe work environment. Follow established protocols for cleanliness, sanitation, and personal hygiene to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Housekeeping: Perform regular housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness in the packaging unit. This includes cleaning equipment, utensils, and work surfaces. Dispose of waste properly and maintain organized storage areas.
Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on filled sachets to ensure they meet company standards. Identify and address any deviations from quality specifications promptly. Report any defects or issues to supervisors. Collaborate with the Quality Control team to conduct periodic tests, ensuring oil quality, consistency, and packaging integrity.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of packaging materials such as oil, sachets, labels, and seals. Notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including batch records, quality control checks, and cleaning schedules. Document any incidents, deviations, or equipment malfunctions.
Safety: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.
Manpower Supervision: Supervise and coordinate all manpower involved in the production line. Ensure efficient teamwork, provide necessary training, and address any personnel-related issues promptly.
The Person
BSc / HND or ND equivalent; additional technical education or certification in food processing is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating packaging machinery, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
Proficiency in operating automated filling machines and familiarity with basic machine troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety regulations.
Analytical and numerical skills: the ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement.
Excellent communication skills and ability to lead and supervise a team effectively
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Age between 25 – 40 years of age.
