Financial Accountant at Green Space Farms (GSF)

Green Space Farms (GSF) was launched in 2016. We launched with venture capital funding and supervision. We are also engaging the local community to be part of our success story by providing them with employment and professional advisory services for local subsistence farmers.

Job Title: Financial Accountant

Job Description

• We are looking to engage the services of an Experienced Financial Accountant.
• The ideal candidate should be Smart , Energetic , organized and detail-oriented.

Key Functions of the Role

• Daily Posting of Sales and Expenses transactions into the ERP (Zoho)
• Reporting of financial transactions and requested by management.
• Updating and filing cash and transfer payment Vouchers with supporting documents.
• Maintain Fixed asset register and asset valuation.
• Applying all payments to applicable Sales invoices on Zoho
• Maintain and organize the physical filing of source documents.
• Preparation of the Monthly Payroll
• Preparation and filing of statutory payments and taxes.
• Monitor office expenses, imprest and reconciliation.
• Preparing bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
• Coordinate monthly Stock counting, and reconciliation.
• Bank statement reconciliation.

Educational Requirements

• Min of HND / B.Sc. in Finance / Accounting or other related fields

Experience:

• Min of 3 years of experience working as an Accountant or similar role
• Retail experience would be an added advantage.
• Preference will be giving to candidates residing in or close to Ikeja or Candidate who resides on the mainland.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and office filing management
• Ability to work with accounting software or ERP
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management
• Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time
• Skills to operate common office equipment.

Renumeration
N200,000 - N250,000  / Month + Performance incentive.
