Grassroots Lifesaving Outreach (LESGO) is an impartial, neutral and independent Non-Governmental Organization whose mission exclusively established to promote life in underserved communities through empowering communities to know and protect lives including their environment towards ensuring safe habitation through participatory methodology. Established in Grassroots Lifesaving Outreach was established in 2010 but was incorporated in the year 2011 with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). LESGO exists to partner with government and relevant agencies to promote and strengthen humanitarian law and a universal principle that seeks to honor the dignity of mankind with support and believe that Life is worth living and living well.

Job Title: Training Facilitator - Consultancy

Project Objectives
The Local Coalition model is integrated into pooled fund governance and processes to increase the efficacy, efficiency, capacity, risk alertness, and inclusivity of local/national partners in responding to the crisis in Northeast Nigeria.
Terms of Reference (ToRs) for a Capacity Strengthening Workshop
Background:
The Coalition recognizes the importance of building the capacity of its staff and leadership to effectively manage projects, enhance human resource practices, strengthen governance structures, and provide visionary leadership. The workshop aims to equip participants with practical skills, knowledge, and tools to excel in their roles and contribute to organizational success.
Objectives of the Workshop:
Enhance project management skills among participants.
Strengthen human resource management practices.
Foster effective governance and leadership at all levels.
Workshop Topics:
Project Management:
Project planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
Risk management and stakeholder engagement.
Budgeting and resource allocation.
Human Resource Management:
Recruitment, performance appraisal, and talent development.
Employee motivation, retention, and conflict resolution.
Legal and ethical considerations.
Governance and Leadership:
Board roles and responsibilities.
Strategic planning and decision-making.
Effective communication and team building.
Methodology:
Interactive sessions, case studies, and group exercises.
Practical tools and templates for project management and HR practices.
Facilitators sharing leadership insights.
Participants:
Coalition Staff members (Project Managers/project officers, Human Resource officers) and board members.
Representatives from government MDAs.
Facilitators with expertise in project management, HR, governance, and leadership.
Expected Outcomes:
Improved project delivery and efficiency.
Enhanced HR practices leading to a motivated workforce.
Strengthened governance structures and visionary leadership.
Duration and Timelines
The duration of the short-term consultancy is three (3) days, 7 hours per day (8am to 5pm) with specific timelines as follows:
Day 1: Facilitate workshop.
Day 2: Facilitate workshop.
Day 3: Facilitate workshop.

Qualifications and Profile
The facilitator should have:
Bachelor's Degree
At least Three (3) years experience in facilitating project management, human resource management, governance, and leadership workshops.
Ability to work collaboratively and professionally while navigating cultural and language barriers.
Ability to be flexible and prioritize projects and tasks effectively.
Be a self-starter: independent, takes initiative to solve problem.
Be highly organized anddetail oriented Be fluent in English.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
