Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos
Job Description
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of our services within Lagos and the broader Nigerian market.
This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategies to increase market share.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, partners, and new business opportunities.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business strategies.
Lead Generation and Conversion:
Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies to attract potential clients.
Follow up on leads, schedule meetings, and present the platform’s services to prospective clients.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, corporate clients, and other key stakeholders.
Act as a liaison between the company and clients to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Sales and Negotiation:
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients.
Negotiate contracts and close deals to drive revenue growth.
Strategic Partnerships:
Identify and secure strategic partnerships with healthcare institutions, insurance companies, and other relevant organizations.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of partnership agreements.
Marketing and Outreach:
Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote the platform’s services.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility and expand the professional network.
Reporting and Analysis:
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on business development progress and market insights.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Certificate in Enterprise Development.
5 - 10 years of experience in healthcare or telemedicine industry.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Additional Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of the healthcare and telemedicine landscape in Nigeria.
Existing network of contacts within the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
Willingness to travel within Lagos and occasionally to other regions as needed.
