Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos

Job Description

• The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of our services within Lagos and the broader Nigerian market.
• This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategies to increase market share.

Key Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:

• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, partners, and new business opportunities.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business strategies.

Lead Generation and Conversion:

• Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies to attract potential clients.
• Follow up on leads, schedule meetings, and present the platform’s services to prospective clients.

Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, corporate clients, and other key stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison between the company and clients to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Sales and Negotiation:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to drive revenue growth.

Strategic Partnerships:

• Identify and secure strategic partnerships with healthcare institutions, insurance companies, and other relevant organizations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of partnership agreements.

Marketing and Outreach:

• Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote the platform’s services.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility and expand the professional network.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on business development progress and market insights.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Certificate in Enterprise Development.
• 5  - 10 years of experience in healthcare or telemedicine industry.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Additional Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of the healthcare and telemedicine landscape in Nigeria.
• Existing network of contacts within the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel within Lagos and occasionally to other regions as needed.
