Grassroots Lifesaving Outreach (LESGO) is an impartial, neutral and independent Non-Governmental Organization whose mission exclusively established to promote life in underserved communities through empowering communities to know and protect lives including their environment towards ensuring safe habitation through participatory methodology. Established in Grassroots Lifesaving Outreach was established in 2010 but was incorporated in the year 2011 with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). LESGO exists to partner with government and relevant agencies to promote and strengthen humanitarian law and a universal principle that seeks to honor the dignity of mankind with support and believe that Life is worth living and living well.

Job Title: Training Facilitator - Consultancy

Background and Context
The Nigeria Local Coalition Accelerator (N-LCA) is a collaborative network of organizations committed to addressing critical social and environmental issues in the North East Nigeria.
The coalition aims to foster collaboration, enhance communication, and strengthen team dynamics among its members. T
he three-day team bonding retreat will provide an opportunity for participants to connect, learn, and align their efforts toward shared goals.
Purpose and Objectives
The primary purpose of hiring the facilitator is to enhance team cohesion, trust, and collaboration within N-LCA.
The facilitator will design and lead engaging activities that promote positive interactions, open communication, and a sense of unity among coalition members.

Build stronger connections among coalition members.
Improve Communication:
Enhance communication channels and active listening.
Foster Trust:
Cultivate an environment of trust and mutual respect.
Promote Collaboration:
Encourage cross-NGO collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Scope of Work
Needs Assessment:
Conduct an initial assessment to understand the coalition's dynamics, challenges, and existing team dynamics.
Workshop Design and Delivery:
Develop team bonding workshop plan.
Facilitate interactive sessions, icebreakers, and team-building activities.
Feedback and Reflection:
Encourage participants to reflect on their experiences and learnings.
Gather feedback to inform future sessions.
Responsibilities
Preparation:
Familiarize themselves with the coalition's mission, values, and member profiles.
Customize workshop content based on the coalition's context.
Facilitation:
Lead engaging team bonding sessions.
Create a safe space for open dialogue and sharing.
Evaluation:
Assess the impact of team bonding activities.
Adjust the approach as needed.
Target Audience
The facilitator will work with a diverse group of coalition members, including staff, volunteers, and leadership representatives from various NGOs.

Qualifications
At least five (3) years’ experience in facilitating team bonding for coalition systems or Networks.
Ability to work collaboratively and professionally while navigating cultural and language barriers.
Ability to be flexible and prioritize projects and tasks effectively.
Be a self-starter: independent, takes initiative to solve problem.
Be highly organized anddetail oriented Be fluent in English.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
