Summary

• We are looking to hire a young, vibrant, innovative Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and customer service.
• This role includes managing staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities and assist in the food and beverage outlets
• Create innovative programs and promotions that drive revenue through increased guest patronage
• Aid in all financial budgeting operations to maximize profitability

Key Responsibilities
Operational Management:

• Supervise and coordinate all grill station activities, including food preparation, cooking, and serving.
• Ensure all food is prepared to the restaurant’s standards of quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to avoid shortages or overstocking.

Staff Management:

• Recruit, train, and supervise grill station staff, ensuring a high level of performance and adherence to restaurant policies.
• Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and training.

Customer Service:

• Ensure that all customers receive prompt, friendly, and courteous service.
• Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Work with the front-of-house staff to coordinate orders and ensure customer satisfaction.

Health and Safety Compliance:

• Ensure that all health, safety, and sanitation standards are strictly adhered to.
• Conduct regular inspections of the grill area and equipment to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning.
• Implement and monitor food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure a safe dining experience.

Financial Management:

• Assist in managing the grill station’s budget, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and inventory.
• Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and profitability.

Menu Development:

• Collaborate with the head chef and restaurant management to develop and refine the grill menu.
• Stay informed about industry trends and introduce new recipes and techniques to keep the menu fresh and appealing.

Equipment and Maintenance:

• Ensure all grill equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance with relevant service providers as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years' of full-service restaurant management
• Flexibility in working hours and a willingness to cover shifts as needed
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work

Salary
N200,000 monthly.
