Job Title: Traceability Coordinator

Job Description
The Traceability Coordinator will provide leadership in building a very strong and credible farmers data base for the company.
He/she will provide leadership in building a reliable system to trace all beans sourced in the company’s supply chain.
And provide leadership by developing and managing quality data management systems by facilitating a culture obtaining quality data from the field.
Key Responsibilities
The Traceability Coordinator Nigeria will be responsible for:
Farmers registration, mapping & census:
Managing a team of field agents responsible to coordinate these activities within the country
Work closely with Sustainability teams to ensure all farmers delivering to LBAs/Coops are mapped and have a complete & coherent Census
Work closely with headquarters/regional team to guarantee all mapping & census data collected is then uploaded in our global platform.
Katchile Traceability module implementation, that will:
Bring traceability granularity from the coop level to individual farmers’ deliveries,
Digitalize cocoa traceability flows,
Be accessible on a real time base,
Ensure standardization, quality, and auditability.
Play a lead role by coordinating the cleaning and as well as updating the Master Data.
S&OP writing:
Batch Traceability & Yield control processes implementation, aiming at reducing the Cocoa infiltration risks and strengthening the robustness of the system
Reporting & Dashboards for internal & external use. In a strong partnership with the M&E team, the Traceability Coordinator Nigeria will make sure that the Katchilé traceability solution provides the required relevant reporting and dashboards for internal & external use.
Train teams reporting to him as well as the Sectors & District leaders on the Traceability procedures & tools.
Be the focal point & technical support for external partners regarding Nigeria traceability matters.
Be responsible for his/her department budget.
Remain open to new technologies and drive the piloting and development of new technological solution that to keep BC on the innovation hedge.
Liaise with all third parties who will be connected with our traceability project.
Be a team lead and design all the processes for the cleaning and updating of the Farmer Master Data
About You
B.Sc. Degree in Agric with Information Technology with 5 years working experience. Masters is an added advantage
Strong analytical and critical skills to ensure excellence in data and consistency in KPI reporting with experience in designing or working in sustainable KPI frameworks
Well-versed in Microsoft Excel/ Agile environments/ GIS and other analytical tools (Python, R, SQL)
Experienced using and reporting from SAP and other databases, experience in database design a plus
Experience in the Agri. Development Traceability/ Sustainability sector is a plus.
Able to coordinate teams outside of reporting line with different agenda, background and expertise.
Knowledge in software programming and App development is an added advantage
Able to explain complex reporting processes to end users with strong coaching and training skills
Project management experience
Ability to lead, plan, co-ordinate and monitor in order to achieve results
Strong listening, analytical skills and solution minded
Willing to travel 50% of the time to rural areas (LBAs/Coops/Brokers warehouses within the regions) and live upcountry
