Qachy Food Bank Foundation (QFBF) is a not-for-profit food bank that is headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria. With a special focus in Northern Nigeria, our goal is to alleviate hunger and provide nourishment to indigent, struggling and underprivileged demographics all over Nigeria. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Front Desk / Administrative Secretary

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled and organized Front Desk / Administrative Secretary to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our organization, handling receptionist and administrative duties with professionalism and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Manage incoming calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate person or department
  • Maintain a neat and orderly reception area
  • Schedule appointments and meetings for staff members
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Assist with other clerical duties as needed

Requirements

  • Graduate with a minimum of two years of experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or similar role.
  • Female, not older than 30 years of age
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must be familiar with the Abuja landscape
  • Preferably living within the Kaura, Gudu, Lokogoma, Games Village, and Durumi axis of Abuja
