Job Title: North Central Area Manager
Location: Abuja (FCT)

Description
We are looking for a talented Area Manager to assign and direct all work performed in the branches and to supervise all areas of operation and marketing.
You will manage Branches, staff, foster a positive working environment and ensure customer satisfaction always and proper business operations across North Central Area of Nigeria.
The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievement. The emolument and benefits are attractive.
Job Responsibilities
As North Central Area Manager, you will be responsible for:
Overseeing and managing multiple branches within a designated geographic area.
Developing and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets and operational objectives.
Providing leadership and guidance to Branch Managers and their teams.
Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Fostering positive and collaborative work environment to drive employee engagement and retention.
Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans
Meet goals and metrics
Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately
Bring out the best of branches’ personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation
Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities
Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs
Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws
Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration
Qualifications
5 - 8+ years of proven work experience.
Minimum of 4 years Experience in a similar role.
Proven experience within the finance industry
Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans is required.
Male is preferred for gender balance
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master's Degree is a plus.
Microfinance Certification is an added advantage.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills, especially with pivot tables and data manipulation/presentation
Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks governing credit
Ability to work on big data and generate insight for decision making.
