The private sector health alliance has evolved from a Private Sector Round Table for Health to a country owned private sector led multisectoral coalition commited to improving health outcomes. Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria operations are guided by a well-developed governing structure with a determined board of directors, an advisory council and efficient management team whose vision is to have a Nigeria where everyone has equitable access to quality and affordable healthcare and wellness.

Job Title: Head, Memberships and Partnerships

Job Overview
PSHAN is seeking a motivated Head of Memberships and Partnerships with a focus on Membership recruitment, Fund raising, Development of grant proposals/partnership recruitment plans, Securing of new grants, Developing programmes and Broker new partnership.
Role Objective
To support the government’s Universal Health Coverage aspirations and enhance the role of the private sector health alliance to accelerate its achievement.
Key Responsibilities
Membership and Partnership:
Engagement with corporate organizations and individuals to recruit new PSHAN members into the available membership categories in line with the organization's objective and approved target for the year.
Research and identify potential partners aligned with PSHAN's goals.
Implement strategies to attract new partnerships and collaborate with stakeholders to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current PSHAN members and partners.
Identify opportunities to enhance the value proposition for existing members and coordinate membership events/activities to foster a sense of community.
Secretariat:
Manage executive level administrative tasks with members & partners (organizing meetings, maintaining effective records, communication, and correspondences, etc.)
Serve as a reference point for members and the Board on clarifying past practices, confirming legal requirements, and providing relevant information/documentation.
Ensure that approved policies and directives are up-to-date and properly implemented.
Prepare reports and briefings for meetings with members, partners, and the Board.
Programmes:
Identify potential programme partners for PSHAN and pursue relationships with other organizations in the public and private sectors.
Facilitate end-to-end implementation and project management for all programmes with programme partners.
Manage relationships with programme partners by providing accurate and timely reports to relevant stakeholders.
Training:
Ongoing assessment of training and development needs of the organization, based on current and planned programmes.
Design and oversee the training of individuals or groups of employees.
Monitor and appraise the effectiveness of training programmes.
Fund raising:
Prepare and appraise business cases for planned programmes.
Develop financial proposals to submit to potential funding partners.
Managing relationships with finance partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
10 years post-graduation experience preferably in membership management and partnership development.
Demonstrated success in securing sponsorships for events or initiatives.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
