We are an independent wine consultancy that offers a range of services centred around wine. These include selling of fine wines, organizing and hosting wine-oriented experiences for private and corporate clients with a focus on wine education.

Job Title: Sales Representative / Store Manager

Job Summary

• We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Wine Store Attendant / Manager who will also serve as a Personal/Executive Assistant to the founder.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for sales, content creation, project management of wine events, and assisting the founder in various administrative tasks.
• This role requires creativity, an aptitude for selling, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and a keenness to learn about wine.

Responsibilities
Sales:

• Drive sales by providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
• Assist customers in selecting wines based on their preferences and budget.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure shelves are adequately stocked.
• Execute upselling and cross-selling strategies to maximize revenue.

Content Creation:

• Develop engaging content for social media platforms, newsletters, and website.
• Create written and visual content including tasting notes, wine pairings, and educational material.
• Collaborate with social media team to enhance online presence and promote sales.

Project Management of Wine Events:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute in-store and off-site wine events such as private tastings, corporate tastings, and wine dinners.
• Manage event logistics including venue selection, vendor coordination, and guest invitations.
• Ensure events run smoothly and provide exceptional experiences for attendees.

Personal/Executive Assistance:

• Provide administrative support to the founder including calendar management, travel arrangements, and email correspondence.
• Assist with personal tasks as needed, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Sales and Collaboration Strategy:

• Identify opportunities for collaboration with local businesses, wine producers, and influencers to enhance brand visibility and sales.
• Develop creative strategies to boost sales and customer engagement, such as promotions, loyalty programs, and themed events.
• Analyse sales data and trends to make informed business decisions and drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.
• Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the beverage and hospitality industry.
• Interest in the world of wine, beverages, hospitality and lifestyle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in content creation and social media management.
• Project management experience, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Presentation software ie. Canva, PowerPoint, etc.
