Job Title: Grill Spot Manager

Summary
The Grill Spot Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the grill station, ensuring high-quality food preparation and customer service.
This role includes managing staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management:
Supervise and coordinate all grill station activities, including food preparation, cooking, and serving.
Ensure all food is prepared to the restaurant’s standards of quality, presentation, and portion control.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Staff Management:
Recruit, train, and supervise grill station staff, ensuring a high level of performance and adherence to restaurant policies.
Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and training.
Customer Service:
Ensure that all customers receive prompt, friendly, and courteous service.
Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Work with the front-of-house staff to coordinate orders and ensure customer satisfaction.
Health and Safety Compliance:
Ensure that all health, safety, and sanitation standards are strictly adhered to.
Conduct regular inspections of the grill area and equipment to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning.
Implement and monitor food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure a safe dining experience.
Financial Management:
Assist in managing the grill station’s budget, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.
Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and inventory.
Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and profitability.
Menu Development:
Collaborate with the head chef and restaurant management to develop and refine the grill menu.
Stay informed about industry trends and introduce new recipes and techniques to keep the menu fresh and appealing.
Equipment and Maintenance:
Ensure all grill equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
Coordinate repairs and maintenance with relevant service providers as needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
4 - 5 years relevant work experience.
Proven experience as a grill cook or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, POS systems).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to work late hours
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 Monthly.
