We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Sales Executive
Location: Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time
Description
Identify and assess potential sales outlets for the company's farm inputs and mechanization services, servicing existing accounts and establishing new ones through strategic planning and daily organization of work schedules.
Customize sales presentations based on an in-depth understanding of the specific needs and preferences of each sales outlet or trade factor.
Concentrate sales efforts on areas with existing and potential high volume dealerships.
Submit orders promptly to the designated desk, considering inventory levels, product pricing, and customer credit performance.
Keep management informed about sales activities and outcomes through regular submission of reports, including daily call reports, weekly accounts reports, monthly revenue by sales reports, and others as required.
Monitor market competition by gathering up-to-date information on pricing, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising strategies.
Provide recommendations for product and service enhancements and policy changes based on the evaluation of results and competitive developments.
Address customer complaints by thoroughly investigating issues, developing effective solutions, and preparing detailed reports for management review.
Lead and coordinate sales team activities by analyzing equipment and tool needs, driving team performance to achieve sales targets, conducting structured problem-solving sessions, planning and overseeing all territorial sales activities, and providing coaching, mentoring, and training to enhance team capabilities.
Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge relevant to optimizing sales performance through participation in educational workshops, personal training, corporate training programs, and networking opportunities.
Keep comprehensive records on general sales, territory performance, customer sales, and subordinate performance to provide historical data for analysis and planning purposes.
Contribute to the organization's overall goals by achieving assigned sales targets and actively participating in strategic planning and execution.
Undertake any other duties as assigned by management to support the achievement of strategic goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Sales.
Excellent knowledge of cold cut sales and marketing.
Good analytic and accounting skill
Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the agricultural sector.
Strong understanding of farm inputs and mechanization services.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.
