MarckCharles Clothing Brand is a male Fashion company located in Elekahia Housing Estate.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Responsibilities
As an Accountant, you will:

• Collect, analyze, and record all financial transactions daily.
• Ensure that payments are timely and also prepare and review invoices.
• Double as a sales representative, which would involve connecting with prospective customers via chat, phone calls, and in person, directly impacting customer growth and success, attending to orders online and offline. You must be social media savvy.

You will:

• Calculate deductions and ensure timely bank payments
• Ensure you meet reporting deadlines and maintain accounting ledgers
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
• Comply with financial policies and regulations
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivables
• Develop and execute outbound WhatsApp/Instagram sequence campaigns and cold calling strategies to qualify potential customers
• Qualify outbound opportunities via phone and WhatsApp communications
• Be at the forefront of exciting customer experiments that aim to find the most high potential customers and help drive that motion
• Meet weekly and monthly qualified opportunity quotas to ensure company revenue objectives are met
• Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of our processes, industry trends, and competition
• Actively collaborate with all team members
• Demonstrate sharp attention to detail

Requirements
We’d love to hear from you if you meet these qualifications:

• Have experience in bookkeeping
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
• Hands-on experience in accounting software
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUPs
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Ability to multitask
• Highly organized to handle multiple prospects with ease
• Entrepreneur mindset: a self-starter with a high sense of urgency who is confident working within undefined processes
• We need someone in Port Harcourt, Nigeria around Elekahia axis to sync with our team.

Salary

• We have budgeted a base salary of N600,000 – N850,000 per annum in addition to a commission structure.
