We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: General Supervisor

Location: Sango Ota, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

• Ensure that production processes are in place.All machines have their files and are neatly attached to the back of the machine (Engineering, production and QC files).
• On receiving a job order number, it is the GS responsibility to make sure that the correct material is supplied to the machine and the correct quantity, the mould change team is engaged and the mould change takes place, the correct man power is allocated and the machine starts on time.
• Ensure that a record/tracker is kept of manpower absenteeism and relocate manpower to priority jobs if necessary.
• Once QShasescalate an issue to the GS, the GS needs to take the appropriate action (Issue Job order to engineering, get quality involved etc).
• Crosscheck if cycle times are being met.
• Ensure that the QS and PT are performing their work to the best of their abilities.
• Monitor QS and PT time keeping and movements.
• Ensure that no machines are stopped without a valid reason.
• Check if all machines are locked out, if a machine is not locked out, this must be escalated to the process technicians who have the keys.
• FG and SFG levels will be reported to GS who will arrange the necessary transfer notes to the relevant stores. GS must keep track of FG and SFG on their floor. All SFG and FG should be removed from the shop floor in the mornings.
• Down time hours and reasons are to be crosschecked and signed by GS.
• Production shift sheets to be signed off by GS and held for production manager.
• 5s is implemented (With the help of operators) at all work stations (SORT, SET IN ORDER, SHINE, STANDARDIZE and SUSTAIN).
• During machine stoppages, all QS are to be kept busy.
• At the end of each shift a hand over must take place with the next GS on shift. All information and problems must be shared.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess B.Sc / M.Sc Degrees with 4 - 8 years relevant work experience.
• General Supervisory role in a production / manufacturing company.
• Proximity to job location is Key for consideration.

Salary
N200,000-  N300,000 Monthly.
