Job Brief
Our client seeks to recruit an energetic, result-oriented, self-motivated, and well-focused Business Development Manager who will expand our business with existing customers develop new customer contacts, manage external development and research partners, and identify new opportunities to create competitive advantage.
He/She will be at the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients
Job Summary
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities in the uniform and apparel sector
Prospect and qualify leads, generating interest in garment factory's products and services.
Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company objectives.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales targets.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
Create and present sales reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint
Coordinate with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities
Maintain the required level of the relevant domain (industry) knowledge to have meaningful conversations with prospects
Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings
Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers
Attend industry conferences and events to keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments
The candidate should be responsible for making outbound calls to potential customers/prospects, following up on leads, and initiating the sales process.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
4-5 years work experience in Business Development In a Garments Manufacturing industry, is an added advantage * Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth objectives.
Job skill and set requirements:
Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails.
Present our company to potential clients
Creative problem-solving with excellent analytical skills
Proven ability to work under pressure, minimal supervision, prioritize workload and meet deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy
Good technical communicator who works well interfacing with both internal and external market
Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction.
Build long-term trusting relationships with clients.
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Achievement of monthly/annual target and any other responsibility as may be required.
Self-motivated, self-directed, mature, ambitious, intelligent, articulate and knowledgeable.
Proven ability to do consultative and concept selling
Organized, detail-oriented, Self- driven, motivated, and highly focused.
Salary
N150,000 - N170,000 / month.
