• We are seeking to engage a mature, cerebral, self-driven and all-rounder Marketing Communications Consultant to guide and complement existing highly-motivated professionals. For the successful candidate, the company will accept flexible working arrangements like working from home, or remotely.

Key Accountabilities

• Advising modalities for driving a high-performance, customer- centric, and results-based Marketing Communications culture.
• Advising, with clarity and logic, the key units of Advertising, Corporate Communications, Creative, Branding, Digital and OOH of the Group.
• Recommending integrated communications strategies that support marketing/ sales plans, attract and retain new consumers, and enhance the patronage rate of the business current consumers.
• Bringing to bear, his/her wealth of experience on Creative Processes: critiquing and proffering alternative solutions to creative ideation, brainstorming, casting, production and exposure across media platforms.
• Contributing to the Collation, aggregation and harnessing of Marketing Communications needs of each Business Unit within the Group for effective and successful campaigns which achieve the overall Marketing and Sales objectives.
• Proposing ideas and feedback from the field and competitive scene leading to the formulation of more effective campaign strategies and solutions.
• Be active in strategic product decisions through the evaluation of market-trends and prospective analysis of the business' products and revenue performance.
• Support the campaign process negotiations as well as regulatory and vetting compliance prior to campaign and material exposures.
• Perform other duties as may be directed by the company management.

Qualification, Experience and Skills

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Sciences, Sales, Marketing, or any other relevant field.
• Postgraduate Degree and additional qualifications in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales and allied fields from reputable institutions will be added advantage.
• Membership of relevant industry and professional organisations is essential.
• A minimum of 25 years working experience with at least 12 years in senior management position, preferably working as CEO/COO or Director of Marketing Communications in a flagship/reputable Advertising Agency or multinational company with experience in Advertising Sales and Advertising Technology.
• The ideal candidate will have vast experience working with modern Marketing Communications tools, platforms, and technologies.
• The candidate is expected to have had proven and successful career in managing an advertising agency or an IMC team from the conceptualization of campaigns to the successful achievement of set objectives.
• Based on experience, provenance and stature, candidate is expected to be adeptly proficient in the entire gamut of Marketing communications: Creative, Advertising, Strategy, Account Management, Corporate Affairs, Public/ Media Relations, Media Planning & Buying, Digital Communications, Merchandising, Branding, OOH and Regulatory Affairs, among others.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strategic thinking, high creativity and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (essentially MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• The ideal candidate will be 50 years and above.
