Role Overview

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Assistant Inventory Officer.
• The Assistant Inventory Officer will be responsible for supporting inventory management activities, ensuring accurate stock levels, and optimizing inventory processes to meet company goals.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, including stock levels, movements, and discrepancies.
• Perform regular stock counts and audits to verify inventory accuracy.
• Assist in receiving, storing, and issuing goods in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Assist in identifying slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommend appropriate actions.
• Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure efficient stock flow and minimize stockouts.
• Assist in implementing inventory control measures to prevent shrinkage and loss.
• Generate inventory reports and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in resolving inventory-related issues and discrepancies in a timely manner.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree / HND in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
