We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Security Guard

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description 

• Nocturnus security Limited is in its expansion phase and seeking to enlarge its beats within Abuja and its environs.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and well-organized individuals are welcome to apply and become a member of our growing team.

Responsibilities 

• Securing and safeguarding life and properties within his/her jurisdiction
• Patrolling the building perimeter and premises.
• Noting the entry and exit of employees, visitors, and other individuals
• Directing visitors to reception and logging their entry to the premises
• Monitoring our video surveillance system and reviewing footage if necessary
• Responding to alarms and calls of security concern
• Keeping daily logs of activities and any issues addressed
• Answering phones and responding to other inquiries at the security desk
• Alerting authorities if needed for emergencies or security breaches
• Addressing any infractions of building rules and/or forwarding them to the appropriate level of management
• Inspecting, testing, and maintaining our security system as well as calling for maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Complete SSCE or equivalent
• Must have 3-5 years of security experience
• Physically fit and mentally stable
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
• Must be able above 18years of age
• Must be able to work a variable shift schedule including night shifts.
• Must be able to express him/her self in English and other Nigeria languages.

• Vigilance, Alertness, Interpersonal communication skills, Friendly personality, Attention to detail, Safety, Dependability, Time management skills, Honesty, Professionalism, Multi-tasking but not limited to this.
