Billing Support Personnel at C & I Leasing Plc

C & I Leasing Plc was incorporated in 1990 as a limited liability company and was subsequently licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) as a finance company, to provide amongst other services, operating and finance leases.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Billing Support Personnel

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Validate Revenue Recognition Criteria, in line with the revenue recognition policy2.Ensure all revenue are recognised in line with the Contract/ signed proposals, by confirming that the details agree with the delivery ticket, Service ticket/goods received notes and other support document.
• Follow up with respective product lines and Account managers, for timely invoicing, thereby reduce the Unbilled transactions volume, on monthly basis.
• Ensure accurate invoicing and reduce the occurrence of credit memo.
• Perform reconciliation of revenue in JDE with the TLEXT details at month end and fix the variance
• Validate Cost of goods sold on Product sales, to ensure completeness7.To have regular effective communication and teamwork with the Finance team and operations staff ensuring that the departments are operating as a cohesive working group.
• Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Management.

Additional Relevant Information About Job:

• Job requires effective communication with all the stakeholders to ensure revenue are billed accurately, invoices are issued promptly and attention is paid to details.

Qualifications

• Graduate Degree in Accounting and its related field
• 3-5 years working experience
• Other professional qualifications.

• Proven problem solving ability
• Knowledge of current legislation
• Knowledge of revenue recognition policies.

Skills / Knowledge:

• Ability to work as a team to meet company objectives and targets.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Dealing with large blue chip companies
• Experience of working for a similar sized organisation
• Previous experience in the oil and gas industry
• Good knowledge of JD Edward Accounting software

• Excellent team spirit, willing to work additional hours to meet set targets,
• Ability to work on own initiative.
