Job Title: Experienced Tomato Farm Manager

Location: Olorunda, Abeokuta-North, Ogun

Description 

• Are you a hardworking and experienced tomato farming agronomist? Do you have a passion for agriculture and a proven track record of success?
• We're particularly interested in candidates with at least 3-5 years of demonstrably successful experience managing large-scale tomato plantations. Your expertise will be crucial in establishing our brand new farm inOlorunda,Abeokuta North, Ogun Stateas a thriving producer of top-quality tomatoes and other staple crops.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the transformation of our virgin land into a model of agricultural productivity.
• Leverage your in-depth knowledge of tomato cultivation and best practices to ensure exceptional yields and consistent quality.
• Implement sustainable farming methods to protect the environment for future generations.
• Oversee all aspects of farm operations, including planting, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and harvesting.
• Manage farmworkers and ensure a safe and productive work environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a B.Sc. Degree in Agriculture or a closely related field is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of recent, hands-on experience managing large-scale tomato farms.
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed production targets.
• Strong understanding of agronomic principles and soil science.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• A commitment to hard work, innovation, and continuous learning.
