Job Description

• As the Head of Market Growth in the Financial Markets Trybe, you will interface with the financial and capital market alongside other key stakeholders to drive financial literacy, market engagements, and regulatory interactions.
• Your role involves securing and managing memberships and partnerships with trade bodies and exchanges, fostering regulatory compliance, and organizing events to promote awareness and active participation in the commodities market through the Exchange.
• This position requires strategic thinking and a deep understanding of financial markets.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Regulatory Engagements: Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities
  (e.g. SEC, Pencom, Naicom, etc.), ensuring proactive compliance.
• Financial Literacy Initiatives: Develop and implement programs to educate market
  participants on commodity investments.
• Market Sensitization Events: Plan and execute events to raise awareness of commodity
  investment opportunities among stakeholders.
• Strategic Partnerships: Identify, foster, and manage partnerships with key players, trade
  bodies, market infrastructure players, and exchanges pivotal to the growth and
  development of the company

Requirements

• In-depth understanding of financial markets, trading dynamics, and regulatory frameworks, with a proven track record of successful market growth initiatives.
• Ability to create relevant market development content targeted at driving product adoption among critical market players.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive market expansion, enhance competitive positioning, and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the commodities space.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors, regulatory bodies, and industry partners, and a proven ability to negotiate and navigate complex business relationships.
• A good knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to commodities trading, with a track record of successfully ensuring organizational compliance with evolving regulatory landscapes.
• Strong leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams, coupled with proven experience in managing teams to achieve strategic objectives.
• Creative and innovative mindset with the ability to propose and implement novel approaches to market growth, along with a willingness to explore and leverage cutting-edge technologies and strategies in the commodities sector.
• Minimum qualification of B.Sc with M.Sc as an advantage
• CFA Certification (acquired or in Process)
• Experience in the Capital Markets
