Job Summary

• As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our travel agency.
• You will be responsible for managing and optimizing operational processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and exceptional customer service.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional travel experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Management: Oversee and streamline all operational processes within the travel agency, including reservations, bookings, ticketing, and logistics.
• Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure that team members are equipped with the necessary resources to succeed.
• Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of service delivery. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel vendors, including airlines, hotels, transportation providers, and tour operators. Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
• Customer Service: Ensure that all customer inquiries, complaints, and requests are handled promptly and professionally. Address customer feedback and implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and expenditures are within approved limits. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize operational expenses.
• Compliance: Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring that the travel agency operates in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• 4 - 6 years relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the travel industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in travel booking systems and software.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.

Salary
N180,000 - N220,000 Monthly.
