Job Summary
As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our travel agency.
You will be responsible for managing and optimizing operational processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional travel experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management: Oversee and streamline all operational processes within the travel agency, including reservations, bookings, ticketing, and logistics.
Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure that team members are equipped with the necessary resources to succeed.
Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of service delivery. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel vendors, including airlines, hotels, transportation providers, and tour operators. Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
Customer Service: Ensure that all customer inquiries, complaints, and requests are handled promptly and professionally. Address customer feedback and implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and expenditures are within approved limits. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize operational expenses.
Compliance: Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring that the travel agency operates in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
4 - 6 years relevant work experience.
Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the travel industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in travel booking systems and software.
Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
Salary
N180,000 - N220,000 Monthly.
