We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Massage Therapist

Location: Borno
Employment Type: Part-time

Key Responsibilities

• Perform massage therapy sessions using a variety of techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, hot stone massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, and others.
• Assess clients' health history and specific conditions to determine the most suitable massage techniques and pressure levels.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, preferences, and areas of discomfort, ensuring a personalized and satisfactory experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting treatment room environment, including sanitizing equipment and ensuring compliance with hygiene standards.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy, proper self-care techniques, and recommendations for ongoing wellness.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards, including maintaining client confidentiality and respecting boundaries.
• Keep accurate records of client assessments, treatment plans, and session notes for documentation and future reference.
• Stay informed about industry trends, new massage techniques, and advancements in wellness practices through continuing education and professional development.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to provide integrated care and referrals for clients with specialized needs.
• Promote the massage therapy services offered by the establishment through marketing initiatives, client referrals, and participation in community events.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and licensing requirements governing massage therapy practice.

Qualifications

• Certification or Licensure as a massage therapist from an accredited institution or governing body.
• Proficiency in various massage techniques and modalities, with a minimum of [insert number] years of experience in a professional setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and create a welcoming atmosphere.
