Job Title: Lounge Manager

Location: Auchi, Edo
Employment Type: Part-time

Responsibilities

• Communicate guest needs and preferences within the department and throughout the property to ensure that each guest has the most personalized experience possible
• Create a welcoming lounge environment for all who enter the Lounge
• Maintain order of all food and beverage in the lounge
• Maintain cleanliness of the loungeat all times
• Service all food and beverage requests of guests with gracious and sincere hospitality
• Control lounge inventory including food, alcohol, soft drinks, silverware, glassware, china, linens, serving pieces, buffet presentation pieces
• Evaluate the staffing requirements and prepare schedules weekly, adhering to budget goals
• Ensure that the Lounge is attended to at all times
• Communicate anticipated business demands to both Front Office and Food & Beverage leadership
• Ensure staff’s knowledge of Lounge services, features, and amenities
• Assign specific tasks to the staff as they arise
• Monitor and ensure that Lounge staff performs their job functions to the hotel’s expected level of service
• Conduct ongoing training with existing staff and ensure that new staff is certified as required
• Accommodate all guest requests in an accurate and efficient manner.
• Ensure payroll is documented and submitted accurately and promptly
• Ensure payroll forecast are accurately completed and submitted timely
• Conduct performance appraisals of staff
• Possess the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in a stressful, hurried environment
• Be an ambassador of the Lounge at all times
