The Edo State Public Service Commission is vested with the responsibilities of treating matters concerning the State Civil Service with respect to Appointments, Promotions, Discipline, Confirmation of Appointments, Transfers, Retirements, Petitions and Other related matters.

The Civil Service Commission carries out its functions and ministerial responsibilities in strict compliance with the provisions of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Edo State Civil Service Commission Law, Public Service Rules, Schemes of Service and other relevant Extant Circulars.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for recording, downloading, uploading and editing of all on-air programming and commercial material
• Operate all control room equipment associated with graphics Monitors, video/audio quality and signal availability using waveform monitors, meters and other test and monitoring equipment
• Capture and encoding of content related to on-air schedules, operate on-air branding for the news.
• Assists media operations group in the recording, storage of content feeds and graphical works
• Manages deployment and retrieval of playlists and as-run files and monitors commercial insertion system
• Integrates live and previously recorded program content and ensure a balance in the voicing.

Qualifications

• Must hold a B.Sc/B.A/B.Eng in any of these fields with, at least a Second Class Upper: Mass Comm., Electrical Electronics, Computer Science or qualification in an associated field and a Master's degree would be an added advantage.
• Must have 3 - 6 years' work experience respectively to be qualified for grade levels 10-09
• Must have completed NYSC or hold a Certificate of Exemption Knowledge in IT/Broadcast television network
• Able to work any scheduled time, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Applicants must be 35 years old or younger to be considered for the job.
