Job Description

• We're seeking a visionary and results-oriented Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their team and play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and growth.
• As the COO, you'll be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth execution of their SaaS model, and propelling the company to the forefront of the Nigerian renewable energy landscape.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement long-term strategic plans.
• Oversee all operational functions, including sales, marketing, customer service, project management, and installation.
• Ensure seamless customer onboarding, service delivery, and maintenance of solar power systems.
• Develop and implement robust systems and processes to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the entire SaaS model.
• Manage procurement, inventory control, and logistics to ensure timely project completion.
• Lead the talent acquisition process to build a high-performing and motivated team.
• Foster a positive and results-oriented company culture built on collaboration and innovation.
• Work closely with the finance department for budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and government regulations to ensure Alterna remains at the forefront of the solar energy market.

Qualifications

• A seasoned professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably within the renewable energy or a fast-paced, service-oriented industry.
• An individual with a strong technical background in solar power systems and a deep understanding of the SaaS model.
• A financial whiz with a keen eye for maximizing efficiency and profitability. Budget management, financial analysis, and a strategic understanding of cost control are essential.
• An administrative powerhouse with a proven track record of streamlining processes, implementing best practices, and ensuring operational excellence across all departments.
• A charismatic leader who can inspire, motivate, and empower a diverse team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are a must.
