We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Location: Lagos,

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for pipeline construction equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all maintenance activities.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure optimal operational efficiency.
• Manage spare parts inventory, including procurement, storage, and distribution.
• Supervise maintenance personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the condition of equipment and facilities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, including maintenance tracking and log books.
• Provide technical expertise in pipeline construction equipment maintenance, with a focus on LDV (Light Duty Vehicles) and HDV (Heavy Duty Vehicles) such as Swamp Buggy, Caterpillars, Sidebooms, Truck Heads, and Drilling Rigs.
• Train maintenance staff on proper maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
• Collaborate with other departments to support project timelines and objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in maintenance management, particularly in pipeline construction or related industries.
• Hands-on experience with LDV and HDV maintenance, specifically Caterpillar and Volvo engines.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate maintenance teams.
• Proficiency in asset management systems and maintenance tracking software.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to maintenance operations.
• Willingness to travel to different project sites as needed.
