We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cleaner

Location: Yola, Adamawa
Employment Type: Full-time

Essential Job Responsibilities
The roles and responsibilities of the Cleaner includes but not limited to:

• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, equipment, and utensils in the bar, kitchen, and restaurant areas according to established standards and procedures.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed.
• Wash dishes, glassware, and silverware using appropriate cleaning methods and equipment.
• Stock and replenish cleaning supplies as necessary.
• Assist with maintaining inventory of cleaning products and equipment.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department.
• Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Knowledge and Experience
Ideal candidate will have:

• At least SSCE or equivalent is required
• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Excellent commitment to service and teamwork
