Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Lead

Location: Lagos

Role and Responsibilities

• Preparing, dispensing, distributing, and administering medications according to Doctor’s prescription
• Counsel the patient and advise on adherence to usage as prescribed to avoid resistance and explain to them the possible side effects of each drug.
• Proper checking of drugs quantity, qualities and expiry dates
• Taking stock monthly to determine the stock level of drugs in the pharmacy..
• Monitoring of drugs and making sure they are used before expiring date.
• Supervision of all activities in the pharmacy.
• Documentation of drugs dispensed to out-patients (HMO, Company patients) and in-patients.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, ensuring the First-in-First-Out (FIFO) system is strictly adhered to, and anticipating needed medications.
• Maintains a clean and safe pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Discuss and promote innovations that will improve the pharmacy department in delivering optimal service.
• Strict adherence to the usage of EMR.
• Ensure medications are kept at the right temperature.
• Monthly submission of sales report.
• Performance Monitoring and Management of staff.
• Adequate compliance with the Stock Reordering level.
• Develop and fully Implement SOPs and Policies
• Ensuring the Monthly LPO(Local Purchase Order) is submitted promptly.

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Pharmacy Technology
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced organization.
• Strong time management and organization skills
• Prioritizing, problem-solving and organization skills.
• Dedicated to excellence and quality.
• ICT Skills
• Customer Care, communication, and interpersonalskills
• Articulate, cordial, hospitable, and pleasant personality.
