The selected Digital Marketer will collaborate closely with the rest of the product development team for engagement, customer acquisition, and retention
Role Description
As a Digital Marketer at [Startup Name], you will play a critical role in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that have a direct impact on the growth and success of our platform.
This Digital Marketer role is based in Abuja, Nigeria,, however, applicants based in Lagos, may be considered
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, search engine optimization (SEO), and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising.
Create compelling and engaging content for digital platforms, including website, blog, social media, and email newsletters.
Manage social media accounts and communities, including content planning, posting, engagement, and analysis.
Conduct keyword research and optimize website content to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, identify trends and insights, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization and improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and content, to ensure alignment and integration of marketing initiatives.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and experimentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in digital marketing, with a strong track record of executing successful campaigns and driving measurable results.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management and email marketing software, Google Analytics, & SEO tools.
Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for digital channels.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform decision-making and optimize campaign performance.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for innovation and experimentation.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
