Job Title: Public Relations Officer (with Social Media Experience)

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Public Relations Officer with Social Media Experience.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing School Hive's public image and communication across various platforms, with a strong emphasis on social media.
• They will work closely with the management team to develop and implement effective PR strategies that align with our mission and objectives.
• Additionally, the Public Relations Officer will engage with our audience, build relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to the growth and visibility of School Hive.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute PR campaigns to promote School Hive's services and initiatives.
• Manage School Hive's presence on social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Create engaging content, including posts, videos, and graphics, to enhance School Hive's online presence and attract prospective clients.
• Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, and respond promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communication channels.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and other relevant parties to secure coverage and partnerships.
• Analyze social media metrics and PR campaign performance to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in PR and social media marketing.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications or HND, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in public relations, social media management, or digital marketing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, as well as proficiency in social media management tools.
• Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for education and a commitment to School Hive's mission and values.
