We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Engineer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Accountabilities
The Operations Engineer will be responsible for the following;

• Performing periodic inspections of power generation and distribution equipment to ensure that they are functioning properly.
• Carrying out routine, planned and unplanned maintenance on power generation and distribution equipment.
• Coordinating with other engineers to ensure that repair and maintenance activities are completed effectively and efficiently and to effect minimum downtime.
• Performing plant operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Operating digital controls to monitor transmission lines, generators, and other equipment, making adjustments as may be necessary to ensure that equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Evaluating operation and maintenance of the power plant and making recommendations on improvements.
• Solve power distribution problems that may arise promptly to ensure client satisfaction.
• Keeping log sheets and other pertinent records
• Performing other tasks as may be assigned by Superiors
• Operating digital controls to monitor transmission lines, generators, and other equipment, making adjustments as may be necessary to ensure that equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Evaluating operation and maintenance of the power plant and making recommendations on improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
